What began as a passion for antique jewelry, particularly vintage charms with their moving pieces and playful nature, evolved into a jewelry business for mother and daughter Leslie and Lisa Slutsky. When Leslie gifted a treasured charm bracelet to Lisa as a holiday gift, an idea for a charm business was bom. Lisa and Leslie embarked upon a jewelry adventure, educating themselves on the history and creation of charms. Charmco formally launched their "design your own charm bar" at Bergdorf Goodman in 2004 followed by a book collaboration; The Charm of Charms in 2005. Through a feature on travel charms in Travel & Leisure, Charmco reached clients around the world. After selling in boutiques and department stores,
Lisa and Leslie decided to bring Charmco exclusively online and direct to customers, offering better prices than in store and with the greatest possible selection.
